Benny Hinn Ministries

October 13, 2008
Hi all. In a few weeks time, Asia Conference 2008 will touch down in Singapore with great preachers around the world coming. I was watching Benny Hinn crusades and this particular video caught me and believe it or not, I teared. For glory be the Lord always.

Be blessed.

The video shows how Benny Hinn dedicate his son, Joshua to the Lord just like how Abraham so willingly sacrifice his only son to the Lord and last but not least, God sent his own son, Jesus, down to earth 2000 years ago to set us free.

Dear God,

I begin to lift up Marvin into your hands. Lord, I pray that you'll strengthen him even when he is in army. You say in Your word, that Blessed is he who knows you. Lord, I begin to pray that you will add strength to Marvin's physical body right now. Take away every single tiredness and sickness in his body. Lord, We believe that you'll bring forth healing to him.

In Jesus' mighty name and all of us say, AMEN!

Dear God,
I lift up Joanne and Charmane into your hands. Lord, even though they are faraway in China and Australia, Lord you will begin to bring them close to us in the spirit. We pray and ask of you to begin to do a work in the family relationships once again. Help them to be united in the family. Father, I pray you will send angels to guard their family. Lord, you send forth protection and cause this 5 months and 3 months to be a moulding period for the family. Lord, we strongly believe that after this period, the family is going to be stronger and more united. Lord, we also pray for their personal life to be strong. Whatever decisions they make, Lord you begin to lead and guide them. Lord, we ask of you to be with them wherever they are and whatever they do.

In Jesus' mighty name and all of us say, AMEN!

Dear God, I also want to pray for Cheryl and Liz and Cencen for the Os and As. Lord I pray that you'll begin to help them be so focused on their studies and help them with increased wisdom to study. We pray for such a discernment to know what is going to come up for the papers. Lord, we ask of u for such a strength to study. Even as they take the next few days to study, Lord we pray you will multiply their time in their studies. Increase their capacity to study! Let them be the light that shines for you once again. We thank you in advance for such a breakthrough.

In Jesus' mighty name and all of us say, AMEN!

* E308, lets continue to keep our beloved bros and sis in Christ in prayers!

Daily Bible Reading:

John 15:9-17
9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other..

I John 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

~Our Love for God~
Our faith in God should not be an "I do for God so God will do for me" relationship. We should not love God for what He can give us or for what we can get out of Him. Instead, we should love God for who He is now and what He has already done for us by sending Christ into the world to die for us.

Many people expect their faith in God to have some kind of payoff. They expect God to deliver whatever they want or need because they believe in Him. Expecting God to deliver what we want as a result of our faith is a selfish faith. As true believers of a positive, living God we are called to be selfless in giving, selfless in spirit, and selfless in love. A valid question to ask is "Shouldn't faith in God and faith in Christ result in 'something' for me? Shouldn't I expect a payoff from God?" Yes, we should all expect something from our faith, but this "something" is not a thing of this world. What we truly expect should be the working of God in our life…the often invisible, intangible, internal, and eternal working of God called love.

Galatians 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

God of This City

October 7, 2008
We had been singing the song titled God of This City, in church for the past weeks. The lyrics is awesome isn't it. I looked up onto the Internet and found out more about this song. Where and why it was written.

Where? Thailand. Bluetree, the original composer of the song was ministering in Thailand. Think again? Thailand? By the way, if you do not know before, 98% of Thailand's population is Buddhist. How was it possible for our God to move? Certainly, He can. The song was not pre-written but was instead sang out by Bluetree during ministry time. God's presence filled the pub - a strip bar. Awesome as it can get, anointing fell upon them and the song was written and sealed.

Why? If God can move in such a ground like Thailand, He can do it anywhere. Our city, my city but ultimately, it's His city. Bluetree went back to Northern Ireland and immediately, penned down and recorded the song for it was certainly a divine intervention. God is doing a work in Thailand.

And thus, as I was worshiping God in my own quiet time this few days, I just sank into this song. God's presence never fail to fill my room. It was so intense that I did not know it was past 3am for the past two days. I just want to share that, greater things in our life has yet to come and greater things will certainly come your way, friends. He's our Provider and as you began to realize what God is about to do for you, you're going to be awe-struck cos' nothing is too great for Him.

I sensed in my heart that God is moving me towards my goal. Be it now or later, I am ready as I commuted with God in tears. Friends, are you ready to heed the call of God? Wait no more, call out to Him today.

Jeremiah 33:3
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Bluetree Version - God of This City
